Settings by Format:
All Apple Devices - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on all Apple devices. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 640 x 480. High quality will use the H.264 video codec.
iPhone/iPod touch - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPhone/iPod touch. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 480 x 320. High quality will use the H.264 video codec.
iPhone/iPod Retina - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPhone/iPod touch with Retina display. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 640 x 480. High quality will use the H.264 video codec and fits a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p).
iPod nano - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPod nano with video capabilities. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 368 x 240. High quality will use the H.264 video codec.
iPod classic - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPod classic. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 320 x 240. High quality will use the H.264 video codec.
iPad - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPad. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 640 x 480. High quality will use the H.264 video codec and fits a resolution of 1024 x 768.
iPad Retina - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an iPad. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p). High quality will use the H.264 video codec and fits a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080p).
Apple TV - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an Apple TV. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 720 x 432. High quality will use the H.264 video codec and fits a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p).
Apple TV 1080p - Will produce a .m4v file that will play on an Apple TV. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and fits a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p). High quality will use the H.264 video codec and fits a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080p).
QuickTime - Will produce a .mov file that will play in QuickTime. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with AAC audio codec and High quality will use the H.264 video codec. Video will not be resized.
MPEG-1 - Will produce a .mpg file that will play on various devices with MPEG-1 capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
MPEG-2 - Will produce a .mpg file that will play on various devices with MPEG-2 capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
MPEG-4 - Will produce a .mp4 file that will play on various devices with MPEG-4 capabilities. Normal quality uses MPEG-4 video codec with MP3 audio codec and High quality will use the H.264 video codec. Video will not be resized.
AVI - Will produce a generic .avi file that will play on various devices with .avi capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
DivX - Will produce an .avi file that will play on various devices with DivX capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
Xvid - Will produce an .avi file that will play on various devices with Xvid capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
DVD-NTSC - Will produce a .vob file that can be used to create a DVD which will play in a standard player (NTSC region). Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will be resized to fit a resolution of 720 x 480.
DVD-PAL - Will produce a .vob file that can be used to create a DVD which will play in a standard player (PAL region). Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will be resized to fit a resolution of 720 x 576.
Windows Media - Will produce a .wmv file that will play on various devices with Windows Media capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
Flash Video - Will produce a .flv file that will play on various devices with Flash capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
Matroska - Will produce a .mkv file that will play on various devices with Matroska capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
Theora - Will produce an .ogg file that will play on various devices with Theora capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
WebM - Will produce a .webm file that will play on various devices with WebM capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher video bit rate. Video will not be resized.
AAC - Will produce an .m4a file that will play on all Apple devices. Choosing High quality will produce a higher audio bit rate. The file will be audio only.
MP3 - Will produce a .mp3 file that will play on various devices with MP3 capabilities. Choosing High quality will produce a higher audio bit rate. The file will be audio only.
